Grangetown Netball Club was established in 1986 by Geraldine Williams. The club consisted of one senior team and played in a local league for social reasons. As the team continued playing Geraldine started to recognise the potential of the club and started coaching them to complete at the highest level possible.

Today we are the largest club in the Middlesbrough area, with more than 135 members and 8 teams representing all age groups compete in various local and regional leagues. The club is run by a network of volunteers.

Players of all ages and abilities are catered for within the teams, they can access various training sessions ran by suitably qualified coaches, and represent the club in organised matches.

Existing members range from beginners, to those competing at Super league level.

The club is silver CAPs accredited and has achieved ‘Clubmark’ status. These are club accreditation schemes that recognise safe, quality sports clubs, so you can be assured that your children are training and playing in a secure environment.
